Hortis Garden of the Month
Hortis, a plant collection platform, named the UCLA Mathias Botanical Garden as the Garden of the Month for June 2026! Established in 1929, the Garden was highlighted for its history at UCLA and stewardship under namesake Mildred E. Mathias, along with its efforts to bring free educational resources to the local community.
