Exploring Justice Along the Food Chain: A Vegetable Tamale Workshop

February 21, 2018 @ 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm

Chema Hernández Gil and Nassim Nobari, co-founders of Seed the Commons, will demonstrate how to make tamales the traditional way, with plant-based ingredients. While cooking, they will speak of the social justice issues that affect people along the food chain, anchoring the discussion in the different components of the tamales. This event is free, but space is limited–RSVP to reserve a space.
