Fall Fest 2025
On Saturday, October 18, the Garden welcomed its community for a celebration of nature at its second annual Fall Fest.
Throughout the day, attendees engaged with their community by visiting booths set up across the Garden, featuring local artists, community groups, and UCLA clubs. Meanwhile, live music from talented performers in the Outdoor Amphitheater provided a soundtrack to the day’s activities.
Guests also partook in a wide breadth of activities, from weaving to button making and mosaic art. Fall Fest also saw the return of the wildly popular Botanical Illustrations, where Instructor Konstanze Rausch led a class diving into the world of botanical-inspired art.
Attendees also learned about Indigenous basketry as both a technical skill and a storytelling form in an engaging lecture by Ramona Rodriguez and Dr. Kelly Leah Stewart. Assistant Director Allison Keeney also led a workshop on fall gardening tips, which can be found below.
