Scheduled docent led tours meet in the MEMBG driveway on South Tiverton across from the Factor Building (see below). Drop-in tours meet in the Nest (outdoor classroom in northern end of the garden).

Directions from Westwood Blvd. and LeConte Ave. Go east on LeConte to Tiverton. Turn left on Tiverton and go past the Emergency Center on Tiverton. Take Tiverton to the MEMBG driveway. This is located almost directly beneath the Factor Building overpass. A docent will be waiting there to direct your group into the garden. Buses and cars are not allowed down the driveway. Remember that drop-in tours meet in the Nest.

Parking for automobiles is $11.00 per car at the Medical Center parking facility across from the Garden (off LeConte and Tiverton Avenues), lot 2 near the Westholme entrance to campus, or metered parking in Westwood. Bus parking is available at the "bus turn-around" north of Lot 4 at Westwood and Sunset. Drivers must stay with their bus. This is on a first come/first served basis. Buses may proceed to the parking area after the passengers have disembarked at the Garden.

Docents provide a general tour of the garden, its history and an overview of pertinent botanical information. If you will let us know in advance of a particular interest in a specific topic, plant species or family (such as succulents/cacti, flowering shrubs and trees, leaf structure, etc.), the docents will be happy to share that information with you. School groups receive pre/post tour curriculum guides.
