Lumnitzera racemosa (Family Combretaceae) has relatively small, somewhat fleshy, erect, spatulate, alternate leaves. Here it is growing around Cairns, northeastern Australia, but the species is distributed as far away as Madagascar and the coastline of tropical East Africa.
