Rooted perennials of yellow water lilies, Nuphar, and pondweed, Potamogeton Growing as the dominants in this southern Michigan lake are the rooted perennials with floating and emersed leaves of a yellow water-lily or cow lily (Nuphar, Family Nymphaeaceae) and the floating smaller-leaved species of pondweed (Potamogeton, Family Potamogetonaceae).
