Since our last communication to you, construction of the Plant Growth Center has progressed steadily. In early January the metal structure was in place to receive the many tons of special glass that will cover the greenhouse units. The project is still "months" from completion, although UCLA plant scientists hope to move plant operations there before the start of summer.
