In September your botanical garden became a location for filming a scene for the popular TV detective series, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (CBS). This time the scene of the action was the newly dedicated Raskoff Bench and the papery-bark melaleuca. The show will air in October, unless our nighttime scene winds up on the cutting room floor, but you may not be able to recognize this tranquil spot, which was modified by enclosing the bench with leafy branches cut from our giant Ficus benjamina.
