MEMBG is being featured on the covers of the UCLA telephone directory 2002-2003. Certainly nobody on campus who uses a telephone will have an excuse to be ignorant about our garden. Mildred Mathias is portrayed on the back cover. Recently many thousands of UCLA supporters were exposed to MEMBG through the 2001-2002 UCLA annual financial report, in which MEMBG contributed a page of colored plant images. On another front, Carol Felixson, docent coordinator, has been spreading the word about MEMBG and the UC natural reserve at Stunt Ranch by becoming a monthly contributor to the Los Angeles Times Kids Page: California Classroom/A Learning Link.
